It all started in 2011 when we purchased and renovated our first character property in Northumberland. We enjoyed such success with our lovely cosy Cottage that our little business has grown rapdily over the last couple of years. Additional properties and projects quickly followed and before we knew it Northumberland Holidays was born. Growing up, living and working in Northumberland has given us a unique knowledge of the area we are lucky enough to call home. We have decades of experience in customer service and the property industry and strive to offer the best possible service to our guests. We know how important your holiday is to you!

We personally hand pick all of the properties advertised on Northumberland Holidays, so we know them inside out. The vast majority of the owners are close personal friends!
The holiday cottages we have on this site are all chosen (or owned!) by us. We're good friends with many of the other owners and booking with us means you're supporting local independent businesses. All the prices on this website are per property not per person and include linen, heating, lighting and fuel (where applicable).
The Booking Process
1 Browse our website and choose the perfect accommodation for you. We've split them up into handy categories to help you make the decision, or if you know the area you want to stay in just browse the map!
2 Check the availability and pricing of your chosen accommodation.
3 Book your accommodation by a method to suit you. Online booking is completely secure, however we understand that not everyone finds this method the most convenient. You can book any of the accommodation on this site by Online Bank Transfer, Personal Cheque or via Paypal, just get in touch and let us know how you'd like to pay!
4 The booking contract is between you and the owner of the property. Once booked, we'll pass on your full details to the owner so that you have their contact details for full peace of mind. See our full Booking Terms and Conditions.
